Ljova and the Kontraband provides a richly textured palette featuring Eastern European and Gypsy melodies beautifully offset by Latin-tinged rhythms. These compositions are fresh and timeless with intricate textures, new rhythms and beautiful melodies. No wonder the music is considered chamber-jam music for the “remix generation.”
