The Boulder JCC Preschool, for children ages 2 ½
through 5 years, provides a quality early childhood program in which learning
is facilitated through play. Through play-based and Reggio-inspired philosophies,
children explore their environment using dramatic play, music, art, sensory
experience, movement and language. Daily
activities are inspired by Jewish values and culture. Each Friday, we bake
challah and join together for an all-school sing along to honor Shabbat. We emphasize respecting ourselves, each other
and the environment.

Preschool
The Preschool begins at the
end of August and runs through the end of May. The School day begins at 9 am
and ends at 1 pm. Early Drop-off is available from 8-9 am. Enrichment classes, such as Hebrew, Science,
and Yoga are available for Butterfly and Pre-K students daily from 1-3 pm.
School
is closed on Jewish holidays and loosely follows the BVSD calendar.

PAL (Play and Learn)
Our PAL program provides
children, 18 months to 2 ½ years, an opportunity to explore a wide range of
preschool activities, including sensory, motor, art, social and language
experiences, under the supervision of a teacher and their accompanying parent
or significant adult.Emphasis is placed
upon exposing children to fun and inviting activities in a small group setting,
providing a social outlet for the children as well as their adult companion.
PAL meets once a week on
Friday mornings from 9:30 am – 11 am.

Summer Camp
Summer Camp at the JCC Preschool is an enriching and playful experience for children ages 2 ½ - 5
years old (or entering kindergarten). Campers will make friends, engage in
outdoor play, learn new sports, conduct science experiments, meet special guests,
explore many types of artistic materials, and much more. Many of our
talented school-year teachers stay on during the summer as camp counselors for
your children.
We
have four camp sessions and each session is two weeks.We know families travel during the summer,
and we want to work with you to find a way to make sure your child can enjoy
the JCC Preschool summer camp along with your family vacations.

School Day Out
On some of the BVSD
