The premier arts program for creative Jewish teens!
August
8-13
Through
JCC
Maccabi ArtsFest®, art-loving Jewish teens can play, draw, sing, dance, film,
write, perform—all with other Jewish teens who share their passions. Working
with outstanding artists-in-residence, teens collaborate with other young
artists while developing their talents with professionals.
JCC Maccabi
ArtsFest is open to Jewish teens entering grades 8-12.
This year teens from Boulder/Denver will travel to the Osher
Marin
JCC in
San Rafael,
California.
The event, which runs from Sunday to Friday includes home hospitality, opening
and closing festivities, community service, and evening social programs. The
hours teens spend in workshops creating art culminates in an exhibition and
performance on closing day.
Creative teens learn more about who they are when they meet
teens like themselves from all over
North America,
Israel,
and other countries. They are able to develop their individuality through
artistic expression, all the while strengthening their bonds to their Jewish
heritage, their communities, and
Israel. The specialties offered
this summer include:
Acting
Culinary Arts
Dance
Digital Photography
Jazz Ensemble
Musical Theater
Rock Music
Visual Art
Vocal Music
