Instructor Biographies
Karen Alonge has a son who has left the nest and a daughter in high school, and has been helping families overcome all types of challenges for over 20 years. She currently provides parenting consultations by phone and online, and also offers home visits locally. Robin Goldstein-Lincoln, MA, LPC is a fellow parent and brings more than a decade of counseling experience to her work as a parent educator and licensed psychotherapist. She began her career as a teacher and school counselor, worked as a staff psychotherapist at a community agency, and now has her own private practice in Boulder where she sees individuals, couples and families. This is Robin’s fourth year teaching parenting classes at the JCC.
David Hansburg has spent the last thirteen years in college football, most recently as the Associate Athletic Director for Football Operations and Summer Camps at CU-Boulder. He has also coached teams that won back-to-back Big Ten Football Championships. David and his wife, Holly, are the owners and operators of Rocky Mountain Day Camp in Superior, a traditional co-ed summer day camp.
Shana Oehmke is the Musical Theatre Instructor at ESC for the Arts, located in Gunbarrel. Shana has many years of professional musical theatre experience and working with children. Her fun, easy-going nature make each class a fun learning experience.
Jodi Schwartz recently relocated to Boulder, Colorado from South Florida where, for the past three years, she taught cooking to children ages 5 to 18. Her love of food, cooking, baking, and children had her create a curriculum of cooking classes to teach children the fundamentals of cooking and recipe building. Jodi is excited to bring her love of cooking to the Boulder JCC this holiday season.
