Summer Camp at the JCC preschool is an enriching and playful experience for children ages 2 ½ - 5 years old (entering kindergarten). Campers will explore nature, friendship, art, science and music all through Jewish lenses. Our camp teachers are skilled, creative, early childhood educators who will facilitate a fun and stimulating experience for your child.
The camp day begins with children being greeted on the playground by their teachers and friends. Playground time is our time to explore sand, water, the garden and further extend each child’s learning and understanding on their natural environment. After outside time, the children come inside for snack, make-believe, science and art experiences. After lunch at 12:30pm, the whole camp joins together in the grassy area on the playground for “Camp Sing.” This is a time that we gather as friends and appreciate our wonderful community by being together. On Fridays, Camp Sing turns into Camp Shabbat Sing where we celebrate Shabbat with challah (made by the children), songs and dancing. Parents are welcome to join us!
