Boulder Parenting Programs and
Parenting Classes

Ongoing Boulder JCC Parenting Groups

All parenting programs meet at the Boulder JCC and all parenting groups are facilitated by Parent Educator Kimberly Baker, MA Marriage and Family Therapy. There is no charge for the Parenting Groups, but donations are always welcome. All of the groups and classes are open to the entire community.

Infant Sleep Class

Please join us for a two part sleep class based on the age of your little one.
The first class we will address some basics around sleep hygiene including some sleep science and sleep hygiene. Jessica will address bedtime routines and rhythms and reasonable expectations of your little one's middle of the night behavior. We will zoom into more detail surrounding how your little one is transitioning from awake to asleep and how you, as the parents can support them in learning this important skill. You will take home some tangible tools to implement at bedtime and in the middle of the night.
The second class is a follow-up to the first class. After implementing the tools at home we will discuss what is working and how to continue the momentum you've started. Jessica will address your next steps for night time sleep. We will also get more specific around daytime sleeping and eating. Jessica will leave you with a few tips on how to deal with some curve balls that get thrown your way. We hope you feel more empowered and confident in how to best lead your baby to a good nights sleep and you can get some sleep too!
