Menorah: Arts, Culture, and Education
Menorah's mission is to provide enlightening and entertaining arts, cultural and educational programs for the Jewish community and the community at large. Menorah’s arts, culture and educational programs attract all segments of the population, create a gathering place for the full spectrum of the community, and serve as a gateway to the Jewish community.
WHO WE ARE
Menorah presents a full season of films, concerts, lectures, author talks, art shows, older adult and Israel programs, and large-scale events such as the Boulder Jewish Festival, as well as outings to community cultural events. Arts and culture contribute to Jewish identity formation, serve to transmit Jewish values and tradition, and play a key role in ensuring the continuity of Jewish life.
Since 1982, Menorah has been offering classes, cultural events and programs that are open to the entire community. Menorah formed a partnership with the newly formed Boulder JCC in 2000, and now functions as an independent department of the BJCC. We remain a separate non-profit organization governed by our own board of directors, while enjoying the support and cooperation of the Boulder JCC and its staff.
