Raising a child is exciting and fun, but also stressful and trying at times. Even our most well-adjusted pets can feel the same way. And two-legged and four-legged alike, we all can have moments where we deal with change less than gracefully. Parents are often initially surprised and then wracked with fear, guilt, mistrust, or frustration when trying to manage child-dog/child-cat relationships that turn sour. Come learn how you can help your fur-babies deal with the changes that come with the early years of child development and hear some tips for developing healthy child-pet interactions.

Come learn important skills for you and your child to maximize safety around pets in your home, your friends' homes and around town. This conversation is for anyone with a child who may ever be exposed to cats and dogs or anyone with a pet who may be exposed to babies or children.
