Virtual: Chavurah (Friendship) in a Box

Date: August 10, 2020
Time: 12:00 am

The Boulder JCC is launching a new “Chavurah in a Box” program for families with young children to build a close knit and consistent community. A Chavurah (plural Chavurot) is loosely translated as “group of friends” and is a small group of families who gather together. The program is an open, inclusive, and easy way to learn and explore together how you want to bring Jewish values and celebration into your family. These groups celebrate holidays, learn together, socialize, and celebrate life-cycle events for years to come! We will start the program with online gatherings. Later this year, there may be opportunities to meet in-person.

The Boulder JCC will help build interested families into groups, as well as provide tools, supplies, resources, activities, and books for your online monthly gatherings. We will support your group throughout the year with a training to get started and use the activities we have developed.

PLEASE COMPLETE THE INTEREST FORM by August 15th. You will then be contacted by Shari Blake Schnee with more information. There will be an informational training on how to use your Chavurah in a Box materials during the week of August 31 | $100
