[VIRTUAL] Black Perspectives One Year Later: Looking Back & The Work to Come

Date: August 24, 2021
Time: 6:30 pm

In July 2020, the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) invited leaders from Denver’s Black community to share their personal experiences with systemic racism and its effects on their community.

We invite you to join us again for an honest conversation about last year's progress and what still needs to be done to end systemic racism. Panelists include:
Bishop Jerry Demmer, President, Greater Metropolitan Denver Ministerial Alliance
Nneka McPhee, Director of Development Services at American Associates, Ben-Gurion University
Alfonzo Porter, Editor-in-Chief, Denver Urban Spectrum
Senator James Coleman (SD-33)
