After-School at Cherryvale

Enjoy the magic of camp throughout the year! Join us for exciting and engaging after-school fun at Cherryvale Day Camp. Daily activities will include STEAM, art projects, cooking, sports, homework time, and favorite camp games. Spend time with summer friends and meet new friends!

Monday - Friday, January 22 - May 17 | 3 - 6 pm | 1-, 3-, and 5-day options available | $30 per day paid monthly


Creative Arts & Culture

IAC Keshet Hebrew Language Immersion Program

Keshet is an interactive Hebrew language immersion program that builds community through a connection to Israel, Israeli culture, and Jewish values and holidays. Join us for a parent and child class where you will learn together through song, dance, creative arts, folklore, and more.

Thursdays, January 24 - February 28 | 4:30 - 5:30 pm | $108 per child (includes parent)


Poetry Palooza for Kids with Molly Davidson

In our technological information-driven age, poetry has never been so valuable for children’s development. Come play on the page with the JCC’s first Poetry Palooza. Learn the basics of what makes poetry a fun and useful skill. Kids will read and write poems, and create a poetry notebook to continue their practice at home!

Broadway Bound with Shari Polis, Choreographer and Artistic Director

Calling all kids who love to sing, dance, and act to the most fun musical hits around! Performers weave songs and dances from favorite Broadway shows and movie musicals into an original script complete with acting, singing, and dancing. This class incorporates instruction in style, technique, self-esteem building, and most of all, a whole lot of fun. The semester will culminate in a performance designed to strengthen self-esteem and confidence in all performers.

Tuesdays, January 29 – May 7 (skips 3/26) | 4:30 - 5:30 pm | $280 per child


Hip Pop with Shari Polis, Choreographer and Artistic Director

Learn choreography to kids' favorite pop hits! Explore new dance moves, enhance stage presence, and grow self-esteem while having a blast at dance class. Each child has the opportunity to develop their own style as well as learn group dances. Parents are invited to attend a performance on the final day of class.

Thursdays, January 31 – May 9 (skips 3/28) | 4:30 - 5:30 pm | $280 per child | Ages 6 - 9


Creative Dance and Movement with Mattie Schuler

We will explore many different styles of creative movement such as hip hop, ballet, and world dance through the use of games, music, props, and choreography. This class is for any child looking to express themselves through music and movement.

Wednesdays, February 6 – March 13 | 4:30 - 5:30 pm | $120 per child


Art Inspired by Nature with Jessica Wasieleski

Explore the natural world through a variety of media. Engaging in nature walks and using our imagination, we will create various art pieces inspired from experiences. Combining our love for nature and art, everyone will go home with wonderful art pieces.

Farm, Garden, & Cooking

Animals on the Farm with Molly Sease, Milk and Honey Farm Educator

Loving animals is the only requirement for this after-school program where children learn about all of the animals and insects that live at Milk and Honey Farm.

Mondays, April 1 – May 13 (skips 4/15) | 4:30 - 5:30 pm | $120 per child | Ages 5 – 10


Sports & Recreation

Basketball with Coaches Dan and Jordan Etter

Campers learn and practice skills such as dribbling, passing, and making baskets through drills and kid-favorite games. This class is a wonderful introduction to basketball for any active child, and a supportive space to explore healthy competition and a team-oriented mentality.

Wednesdays, February 6 – March 13 | 5 - 7 years | 4:30 - 5:30 pm | $120 per child
