Get ready to make the most of the sunny days ahead—Summer Registration is Opening Soon! Join us at the Boulder JCC for a diverse array of programs for families focusing on Early Learning and Parenting Education. Each season offers enriching opportunities for parents and caregivers to enjoy time together while their children develop social and emotional skills.

Child Classes Include: Exploring the Milk and Honey Farm, learning beginner sign language, music, crafting, and much more! 
Parent Education Classes Include: Covering topics to help navigate milestones such as potty training and preparing children for a new sibling. Our educational opportunities encourage parents and caregivers to learn, grow, and foster community.

Refund Policy

In order to receive a refund for Early Learning and Parenting classes or events, you must cancel at least 2 weeks prior. You will receive a 50% refund within 1 week of the start of the class or event. If a class or event has already started, no refund will be given. Missed classes will not be refunded. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis. 

Meet the Instructors



Kimberly Baker started at the Boulder JCC as a Pre-K teacher in 2011 while finishing her Masters in Family Counseling. She interned at the Parenting Place, a family resource center where she facilitated several counseling groups including Hope and Loss for parents who experienced child loss, miscarriage, and infertility, and an adoption group for parents. Her role transitioned to Director of Parent & Early Learning Programs in 2014 after completing her Master's degree. At the Boulder JCC she teaches several classes, including Baby Time, Toddler Time, and Babies at the Farm. She is passionate about parent education and coordinates monthly education opportunities called Coffee & Conversations. Aside from teaching classes at the JCC, she facilitates parenting groups such as Babies at Bobolink walking group, Single/Divorced Moms group. She enjoys coaching basketball, photography, and hiking in her spare time. She lives in Erie with her two kids, Emily (10) and Austin (7), her husband, Adam, and dog Bella.

 


Stacey Martin has worked at the Boulder JCC since the summer of 2019 when she and her husband moved to Boulder from Chicago. She first worked as a preschool teacher and is now the Family and Early Learning Specialist. Stacey has her MAT in Museum Education and previously worked as a museum educator teaching programs for young children and their families. She has worked at a history museum, a zoo, a planetarium, and an art museum, so she knows a little about a lot! Besides Boulder and Chicago, she’s lived in New York City, Washington, DC, and Ann Arbor, MI, where she grew up. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, climbing, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and two cats.


Nupur Israni is a Baby & Toddler Consultant and the founder of FEED PLAY REST. She’s a toddler mama, science teacher, prenatal yoga instructor, baby sign language teacher and a certified pediatric sleep consultant. Her passion is to empower and support families to FEED PLAY & REST in the best ways using the mind of a scientist and the heart of a mama. Nupur has been teaching baby and me yoga for a few years now and she is excited to use music, body movements, and stories to introduce your baby to the practice of yoga and mindfulness.

Chamisa Logemann has been teaching signing for infants and toddlers at the JCC for over 10 years. She began her sign language career by taking a class with her own daughter when she was 13 months old. She is now a teenager! Sign language became such a powerful tool for communicating and understanding her needs that she was inspired to become an instructor herself. Before becoming an instructor at the JCC, she taught elementary school in Broomfield and California, and preschool in Aurora. She has always had a passion for teaching children and helping them learn. She has 3 children,  a girl and 2 boys. They live in Broomfield where they enjoy biking, paddle boarding, traveling to the beach, and skiing in the mountains.


Annabella (Bella) Cox teaches music at the Boulder JCC with Altitunes. She has a degree in music education and a certificate in disability studies from Virginia Commonwealth University, and is currently studying vocal performance and pedagogy (opera) at CU Boulder. She previously worked as a preschool teacher for four years. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, biking, and hiking.


Audra Trask is Michigan native with degrees in Child Development and Early Childhood Education, Audra became a certified Child Life Specialist while training at Detroit Children's Hospital. After relocating to Seattle, she worked as a Certified Child Life Specialist at Swedish Hospital. She also served as a Birth Instructor / Parenting Educator at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, WA. She resides in Boulder, CO, with her husband and three wonderful children. Audra continues to work as a private parenting consultant and Child Development Expert & Parent Educator at Boulder Community Hospital.


Daniel Etter brings nearly three decades of coaching experience to the Boulder JCC. Dan met his wife, Jordan, in college, where he captained his soccer team. Dan's coaching experience ranges from skills camps and high school teams to developing youth sports programs. In addition to developing fundamental skills, he believes that sports are a powerful and effective way to teach children such life skills as work ethic, resilience, compassion, teamwork, and critical thinking. Most importantly, having fun is at the core of everything he does. Dan and Jordan have three children, two boys, and a little girl. Dan also works for Repair the World as their Senior Program Manager for Colorado.

Babies at Bobolink

Mondays, March 31 - May 19 | 11 am - 12 pm | FREE 
Bring your little one (up to 18 months) and a stroller/carrier to the Bobolink Trailhead to enjoy the Colorado sunshine while connecting with other parents and their babies. Join us on Mondays to walk the trail, create new friendships, and have open conversations in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment. Build community and share experiences to support each other on this incredible parenting adventure! Parking at Bobolink Trail is always limited. We will park at the East Boulder Recreational Center and walk the trail from there. This helps with parking and Rec Center has a bathroom for use. Monthly Farmside Shabbat

Second Friday of the Month | 9:30 - 10:15 am | FREE
"Sha-bbat, Sha-lom, Hay!" Join us for our main season of Farmside Shabbat Sing (June - October). Celebrate the songs and traditions in an open, inclusive, and accessible environment. We'll sing Shabbat songs, read a story, explore the farm, and welcome Shabbat with the blessings of the candles, challah, and grape juice. Everyone is welcome but this event is tailored towards kids ages 0-5 and their parent(s) or caregiver(s). Advance registration is required only once for the main season June - October.
