Motus Theater Presents: The Meaning of Courage
Details
Motus Theater’s "UndocuAmerica Project" brings to life deeply personal and moving stories from undocumented individuals living at the heart of America’s immigration debate. These monologues are read aloud by prominent Americans who lend their voices—and their empathy—to see the world, if only briefly, through someone else’s eyes.
At this event, Rabbi Fred Greene and Rabbi Marc Soloway will read the story of Cristian Solano-Cordova, who shares the powerful experience of strategizing how to protect his 8-year-old U.S.-citizen sister in the event their mother is deported. Following the monologue, Cantor Devorah Avery will offer a heartfelt musical response.
Join us for an evening of courageous storytelling, deep reflection, and a call to compassion. Learn more about Motus Theater https://www.motustheater.org/
