Please join us for a conversation with Moshe Lavi, brother in law to Omri Miran, a hostage in Gaza belived to still be alive. Moshe is part of the Hostage Family Forum and will be interviewed by Miri Kornfield of "Stand With Us". You will have the opportunity to learn more about Omri and the work of the Hostage Family Forum.

Omri Miran, 49, is a resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz and was taken hostage on October 7th. Omri is originally from the north of Israel but moved to Kibbutz Nir Oz 12 years ago. There, he studied Shiatsu, a form of Japanese physical therapy, and opened his own studio to help those in the community heal and recover physically. Omri is known for his big smile, his calm demeanor, and his loving personality. Omri and his wife, Lishay Miran, 38, have two young daughters together: Roni, who is two, and Alma, who is six months old. Omri is a loving and caring father and husband.

Moshe Emilio Lavi Born and raised in Sderot, Israel, he served as a captain in the Israel Defense Forces. Following his military service, Lavi pursued higher education, earning a BA in political science and history from Carleton College and an MA in political science from Tel Aviv University. He further advanced his studies by enrolling in a dual MBA/MA program at the Wharton School and the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on international studies, business, energy, environment, and sustainability. Professionally, Lavi worked as a management consultant in New York City, applying his expertise to various strategic projects.
