Teens, volunteer at the Milk and Honey Farm this summer! Tend to the plants in the field and greenhouse, meet the goats (there will be baby goats), and feed the chickens and koi. This is an opportunity to contribute to the community through hands-on tasks and make a positive impact in the environment. Produce from Milk and Honey Farm is donated or used in educational programs and each year we donate over 4,000+ pounds of produce to Boulder County community members experiencing food insecurity.
Tasks may include digging, planting, harvesting, and tending plants in our tzedakah (donation) garden. We will also work to improve our educational garden beds, and tend plants in the greenhouse. Please come prepared with a water bottle, close-toed shoes, and a snack. Participants are encouraged to pre-register and join us as often as your schedule allows during the months of June, July, and August.
