Celebrate a decade of community, tradition, and delicious challah at the 10th Annual Great Big Challah Bake, hosted by the Women of the J!

Experience the joy of creating challah—a traditional egg-enriched braided bread central to Jewish Sabbath and holiday celebrations. During this special evening, you'll learn to prepare and braid your own challah dough from scratch, then take it home to bake just in time for Shabbat.

The program will start at 7 PM, allowing participants to enjoy dinner before joining us. While your dough rises, join us for a dessert break with fellow bakers. Whether you're a first-time baker or a seasoned challah expert, there's something magical about sharing this cherished tradition with your community. Join us for an evening of connection, creativity, and celebration!

Important Notes

Gluten-free and vegan/gluten-free dough options available (select during registration). Please note that while alternatives are provided, gluten will still be present in the room. Open to individuals aged 12 and above (an adult must accompany minors). Be sure to register, as this event sells out quickly. The event is currently at capacity. If you are interested in participating, we kindly request that you register to be added to our waitlist. We will do our best to accommodate you once you are on the waitlist.
