Jonathan Lev, MPA, joined the Boulder JCC in 2010. He is a passionate educator and entrepreneur who combines his experience at Jewish summer camp and involvement with the startup of Boulder based Renewable Choice to influence his leadership as a Jewish professional. He was certified as a high school teacher and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado in Boulder. For more than six years, Jonathan was a leader in the field of Jewish summer camp where he worked tirelessly to enhance the level of supervision and mentorship for both campers and staff through innovative summer and year-round trainings. In 2007, Jonathan continued his studies and was selected as a Taub Fellow at New York University in the dual-master’s degree program for a Master in Public Administration in Nonprofit Management (MPA) and Master in Hebrew and Judaic Studies (MA). He is a Wexner Field Fellow, Schusterman ROI Community Member, and received the 2020 Boulder Chamber of Commerce Community Impact Award. He and his wife Lyndsay spend their free time hiking trails, skiing, listening to music, and spending time with their daughters, Mira and Susanna.Heidi Dormody

Heidi became the Capital Campaign Consultant at the Boulder JCC in January 2010. In this role, Heidi worked with the Boulder JCC to establish and implement a comprehensive development plan for the Cornerstone Capital Campaign. Under her guidance, the Boulder JCC successfully raised over $30M. With over twenty years experience in non-profit fundraising, working with both individual and corporate donors, as well as grant writing, Heidi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. Prior to joining the Boulder JCC, Heidi served as the Development Director for Engineers Without Borders – USA. She holds a BA from Dartmouth College and has lived in Boulder since 1998. In her free time, Heidi loves traveling, hiking with friends and family, reading a good book, and eating good food!Nancy Lipsey

Nancy Lipsey credits her time in youth group, JCC summer camp, and her parents' commitment to community organizations in Memphis for her long career in the nonprofit sector. She has a Master's of Nonprofit Management from Case Western Reserve University and is a graduate of the Educators Program at the Pardes Institute in Jerusalem. She is a Jewish Educator and taught in the Florence Melton Adult Mini School. Nancy's experience includes leadership positions at the JCCs in Atlanta and Detroit where she led the oldest and largest Jewish Book Fairs in the country. She served as Hazon's Director of Outdoor Adventures expanding the Jewish Environmental Bike Rides in New York, Israel, and Northern California. Nancy led the transformation of the experience for 10,000 volunteers for the New York City Marathon, the world's largest marathon. As the Director of Volunteers and Community Events for the New York Road Runners her team launched a free community running program in NYC Parks. Peggy Lowe

Peggy joined the Boulder JCC in 2014 as our first Controller. Peggy holds her CPA license and comes to us with over fifteen years accounting experience including public accounting, landscaping, construction, university and nonprofit organizations. Having recently relocated from Raleigh NC, Peggy and her husband Troy are thrilled to be living in their dream home in the mountains of Coal Creek Canyon. They enjoy hiking, wildlife, concerts and spending time with their adult children.Susie Valdez

Susie is the Director of Early Childhood Education at the Boulder JCC Preschool. Susie grew up in Boulder and attended CSU where she received her degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Education. During her time in Fort Collins, Susie was fortunate enough to work as a parent and family educator for United Way. Since 1988, she has been teaching or directing preschool. She has worked at the Boulder JCC since 2003, first as a teacher and now as the director. Susie feels so fortunate to be a part of such an outstanding program and surrounded by the wonderful teachers who work here.Cynthia Weinger

Cynthia Weinger is the Director of Operations at the Boulder JCC. A native of Rockville, MD and a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Cynthia moved to Boulder, CO in 2008, where she worked as the Executive Director at Congregation Bonai Shalom, and then as an independent consultant, before joining the Boulder JCC staff in 2014. She is passionate about building Jewish community and comes to the JCC with 17 years of experience in the Jewish non-profit sector. She loves living in Boulder, picnicking at the Wednesday Farmer’s Market, celebrating Shabbat with friends, and is delighted to part of the Boulder JCC team at such an exciting time.Programming
