From his West Side Story debut, Stephen Sondheim quickly became the reigning musical theater genius of his generation, and has been described by New York Times theater critic Frank Rich as "now the greatest and perhaps best-known artist in the American musical theater.” Enjoy his most-beloved compositions (Send in the Clowns), and a few fully staged musical numbers from shows such as A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Pacific Overtures, Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, Assassins, and Passion. With Faye Nepon and dozens of guests.
