Date: August 19, 2021Time: 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Racial equity and justice can never be achieved until we address systemic racism in education. Across the nation, decades of inequitable access to educational resources have created significant hurdles for children of color to overcome to achieve academic success.

Join us for Part 3 in our series on Understanding Systemic Racism, as we focus on education.

Our panelists will discuss how systemic discrimination and racial bias against students of color began and its impact on individuals, our community, and the nation. We will also discuss how we can be agents of change to address systemic racism in education

Our Panelists include:
- Roby Chatterji, Senior Policy Analyst, American Progress
- Jordan Starck, Provostial Fellow for Studies in Race and Ethnicity, Stanford University
- Cherry Steinwender, Founder/Executive Director, The Center for Healing and Racism
