[VIRTUAL] Lunch & Learn: No Place On Earth: An Incredible Story of Strength and Survival

Date: October 15, 2020Time: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join world caver and explorer, Chris Nicola as he shares the incredible story of how five Jewish families survived the Holocaust by taking refuge in a cave for nearly a year and a half - the longest recorded uninterrupted underground survival occurrence. Through extensive research and determination, Nicola locates a few of the survivors and brings this story to life with both the book, The Secret of Priest's Grotto, as well as the documentary, No Place On Earth. This remarkable true story starts out as a mystery and ends as an astounding testament of faith, strength, and perseverance.

Chris Nicola lives in New York City where he has worked as a Senior Investigator for New York State, a bar manager and bouncer, adjunct lecturer, actor, bodyguard, undercover investigator in the NYC schools, and civilian operative for the FBI. Today he spends most of his time caving, being a public speaker, and further developing this story that he first heard as a rumor in Ukraine 20 years ago.
