With Jack Adler in person

Denver Holocaust survivor Jack Adler is the subject of his filmmaking son’s documentary, which covers Jack’s traumatic wartime experience, then moves to late-1970s Chicago, when Nazis planning a march through a community filled with survivors were met with furious resistance. The relationship between father and son deepens as they return to Poland, where Eli learns more about the extended family that perished during the Shoah.
