Motorcycle Diaries: A Camera and the Open Road With Photographer Andy Zicklin

Date: November 8, 2018

Andy creates his photography under the name Lamfography, which takes its root from the New York street acronym representing the DIY music aesthetic of the mid to late 1970’s. Combine that aesthetic with travel and photography, and you have Andy cruising the highways on his Moto Guzzi, constantly making the wrong decisions and then spending most of his time trying to extricate himself with the least amount of trouble. Hopefully getting a good shot along the way.  A bit of a nomad, Andy was part of the San Francisco punk scene from 1981 through ‘89, then taught hypnotherapy, became a financial advisor, moved his family to Barcelona for a year, and now has a company that markets private equity. He also plays music on KGNU. He lives in Boulder with his very, very understanding family.
