Join Ilyse Hogue and Women of the J for Women's Reproductive Health: Where We Are and Why It Matters. Ilyse Hogue has spent her career organizing and mobilizing support around social justice issues including human rights, media reform, and reproductive freedom, as well as environmental issues. She has been the President of NARAL Pro-Choice America since 2013. While there, she has pushed the national conversation around abortion access to be one of fundamental human rights and self-determination for women. Prior to her tenure at NARAL, she worked at advocacy organizations including, Friends of Democracy, Greenpeace, and Media Matters.

Ilyse is a regular contributor to the New York Times,, the Nation, Cosmopolitan, and Elle Magazine. She was named one of Elle Magazine’s “10 Most Powerful Women in DC” and was named on Washington Life’s Power 100 List. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her husband and their 3-year-old twins.
