Mathew Klickstein quite possibly knows more about the beloved, record-breaking animated series The Simpsons than anyone else on the planet, except for those who actually create the show, of course - and he wrote a book with one of them: Mike Reiss, a four-time Emmy winner. Join us for an examination of the influence of Jewish culture on the show in this guided discussion featuring clips from its more than three-decade-long run. Copies of "Springfield Confidential: Jokes, Secrets, and Outright Lies from a Lifetime Writing for The Simpsons" will be available for purchase in addition to his latest book "Selling Nostalgia: A Neurotic Novel" and the recently released fifth anniversary edition of his "SLIMED! An Oral History of Nickelodeon's Golden Age."
