Date: June 25, 2020
Time: 5:00 pm

Jamie Bernstein travels extensively, speaking about music as well as about her father, Leonard Bernstein.  Jamie’s film documentary, Crescendo: the Power of Music, is viewable on iTunes and Amazon Prime and her most recent book, Famous Father Girl, is available at the Detroit Jewish Book Fair’s online store. Long-time friend of Jamie’s, Ted Chapin, is president of Rodgers & Hammerstein, a position he has held for 30 years. He has spearheaded many a Broadway production during his tenure, including Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, the first time the 1957 CBS television-commissioned show has been seen on Broadway, and in a newly adapted version. His father, Schuyler Chapin, was General Manager of the Metropolitan Opera and colleague and friend to Leonard Bernstein.
