Virtual: Book Discussion: White Fragility

Date: August 12, 2020
Time: 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

A community book discussion diving into themes from Dr. Robin DiAngelo's
best-selling book White Fragility. Our goal is to understand how we can move
past emotional barriers to become actively anti-racist, and to extend our cultural
competence in a brave space with other community members who are engaged
in having difficult conversations around issues of importance. This discussion will
be led by community member Amanda West and others. The City of Lafayette has
chosen this book for their LafayetteReads program. For those who wish to buy the
book please support our local bookstores.
