[IN-PERSON] OneTable Young Professionals Dinner: Break-the-Fast Take 2: on the Farm

Date: September 17, 2021
Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join OneTable at Break-the-Fast Take 2, for young professionals.

What do bagels, lox, milk, and honey all have in common? They’re the perfect way to start your New Year
- especially when they accompany delicious food, delightful community, and
meaningful conversations with OneTable & Milk and Honey Farm at the Boulder JCC!
Join us to break the fast (take 2!), while you enjoy a farm tour, sample farm-fresh snacks,
and indulge in all the bagels, lox & kugel (from Rosenberg’s Bagels) you’re still not quite full of.
We'll have food to accommodate a variety of food restrictions and preferences - please be sure to list yours in your RSVP.

This Rosh Hashanah we kick off the Shmita year - a year (once every 7 years) that feels like Shabbat x 1,000,000 - it's a year where (Biblically speaking) we’re encouraged to let the agricultural land rest, forgive debts in society, and resolve inequities that may have occurred. Let's explore what this concept could look like in our lives and how a year of radical rest might radically change us.

Milk and Honey Farm is both a community, educational, and a working farm, that grows over 3,000 lbs of vegetables, most of which are donated to those in need. Our farm also has chickens, goats, a greenhouse with koi fish, and a full children’s garden! We’d love to have you join us for the evening in this beautiful space.

This event has a cost of $7 (Shmita, Shabbat, get it?!) - if this cost poses a barrier to your attendance, please reach out to your OneTable Colorado Field Manager, Lizzy.

Friday, September 17 | 5:30 - 7:30 pm | $7

The program is now FULL.
