Online Counseling

  • Jewish Family Service telehealth counseling services are available to any individuals and families that may be impacted by the stress of COVID-19 and in need of mental health support. It’s normal to feel stressed or anxious during uncertain times. If you would like to talk to a mental health professional call 720.248.4701 or email Telehealth uses a variety of technologies to deliver virtual services by connecting counselors with clients by phone or through an online video call. Our services are open to individuals of all ages. Jewish Family Service serves people of all faiths, races, ages, incomes, and abilities. We offer a sliding-fee schedule for those with limited financial resources. We accept private insurance, self-pay, Medicare, Medicaid, and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

  • Postpartum Wellness Center Boulder - free live online talks by therapists at 3:30 pm daily on Instagram

  • Postpartum Support International has increased the number of free weekly online support groups for pregnant, postpartum, and military moms. Find information on timing and register here. You can also access their provider directory to find local therapist support.

  • Most local therapists are currently providing teletherapy services via video rather than in-person. Many also have more availability now than they used to, so do not be deterred by previous waitlists.

  • Many yoga and meditation practitioners are providing web-based content as well--search locally and nationally!

  • Mental Health Partners is still accepting new clients and providing telehealth services as well as other resources

  • Super Stretch Yoga — An app that allows kids to learn yoga positions from animated characters

  • Cosmic Kids — A YouTube channel and app with videos on how to practice yoga and mindfulness

  • Breathe, Think, Do with Sesame — A Sesame Street app that teaches kids problem-solving and self-control

Please note that most of the apps listed below are for meditation. Meditation is by far one of the most effective, research-based tools for managing stress, anxiety, and emotional reactivity - and an important tool for all of us to access during these trying times.
