Get ready for nonstop fun with our School Break Days! Designed to coincide with your school's off days, these action-packed days are exciting and filled with. There's something for everyone, from sports and games to creative arts and crafts, lively dance sessions, captivating library time, and unforgettable experiences at the Milk and Honey Farm. Open to Kindergarten through 5th grade children, join us for a fun-filled adventure!

Experience a typical day in our School Break Days, filled with farm time, crafty activities, sports, making new friends, and exploring around the JCC. We provide a fun-filled environment for kids on their school day out, ensuring they have a blast while learning and playing.

The 12th annual Boulder Jewish Film Festival features 13 films from around the world and our always popular shorts program, inviting audiences to engage in a meaningful conversation about the Jewish experience. All films this year are in the Boedecker Theater or the Grace Gamm Theater at the Dairy Arts Center. Tickets to the festival go on sale Oct. 22. Showings do sell out; purchasing early is advisable.

Formed in 2017, Flex embodies flexibility, muscle and mind flexion, heart and mood reflex, and the inflection of a wide range of musical influences. Featuring pianist Art Lande, bassist Gonzalo Teppa, and drummer Dru Heller, the group embraces the myriad of possible textures and colors available to this time-honored instrumentation.

Playing together as Flex, Art Lande, Gonzalo Teppa, and Dru Heller will perform at the Boulder JCC on Sunday, September 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Join us in the beautiful Levin Hall for an evening of light appetizers, wine, and music and to listen to Flex's music. Coffee fans in Boulder have a new destination for their caffeine needs: the Boulder Jewish Community Center.

“Café at the J” is a new coffee kiosk inside the Boulder JCC, at 6007 Oreg Ave. Open to the public, it serves drip coffee, espresso drinks, bagels, sandwiches and more grab-and-go options for breakfast and lunch.The cafe is a partnership between the JCC and Boulder Bridge House, a nonprofit group that provides programs and services to people experiencing homelessness. Café at the J is staffed by a graduate of Bridge House’s Ready to Work program, which connects homeless individuals to job opportunities.

Looking for enriching opportunities for parents and caregivers to enjoy time together while your children develop social and emotional skills? Join us at the Boulder JCC for a diverse array of programs for families focusing on Early Learning and Parenting Education. Classes include exploring the Milk and Honey Farm, learning beginner sign language, music, crafting, and much more! Parent Education programs cover topics to help navigate milestones, such as potty training and preparing children for a new sibling. Our educational opportunities encourage parents and caregivers to learn, grow, and foster community.

Join the Boulder JCC and many other local Jewish organizations on Wednesday, August 21, from 4 - 7 pm for an engaging open house in a community setting to learn more about fall programs, high holiday programs, and religious school information all the organizations have to offer. The Community Block Party is an excellent way to learn more about what Jewish Life in the Foothills offers.

On Wednesday, August 21, from 4 - 7 pm, the Boulder JCC will host a Community Block Party, bringing together Boulder JCC program departments and local organizations for an engaging event filled with fun, friends, and information. Join us on the Grant Family Patio to enjoy food available for purchase from on-site food trucks, live music, lawn games, a farm tour, a chance to try our Modern Israeli Dance class, drop-in Pickleball open play, and much more.

EXCHANGE: A Hub for Learning is the adult learning program at the Boulder JCC. This program provides educational opportunities for adults to learn for the sake of learning. Due to the program’s popularity, this fall season will offer more classes than ever—8 total. Students will have the chance to sign up for multiple classes in one day or the same week, with classes ranging from 3 weeks to 6 weeks.

In addition to learning something new, the real draw of this program is making connections with others. As a student from the last session said,   “The classroom and facilities, the JCC Staff, including the very helpful and friendly people at the front desk, all added to the pleasure of the course was truly excellent. Meeting friends and making new ones also added to my enjoyment of the class."
