Ensuring No One Goes Hungry: Join Our Passover Food Drive
As we prepare to gather around the Seder table, we recount the story of our ancestors’ journey from bondage to freedom. It is a time of reflection, celebration, and, most importantly, community. Central to the Passover story is the call to empathy and action. As the Haggadah commands us: "Let all who are hungry come and eat." This year, that call is more urgent than ever.
In Boulder and Broomfield Counties, the reality of food insecurity is closer than many realize. Currently, 1 in 12 of our neighbors are experiencing food insecurity. As the cost of living continues to rise, many families are being forced into impossible "heat or eat" decisions—choosing between paying essential bills or buying nutritious groceries.
Through our partnership with Community Food Share, we have the opportunity to live out the spirit of Passover by ensuring that liberation from hunger is a reality for everyone in our community.
