SUMMARY:Boulder Jewish Festival
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the 30th Boulder Jewish Festival on Sunday\, June 8\, 202511
 am - 3 pm | Pearl Street Mall (between 13th &amp\; 14th)\nJoin us this
Sunday for the 30th anniversary of the Boulder Jewish Festival\, one of
the longest-running Jewish cultural festivals in the country. We look
forward to sharing this day of resilience\, culture\, and community
solidarity in Downtown Boulder\, exactly one week after an antisemitic
terror attack shook the Jewish community at the same site. If you are
unable to attend\, we hope you will join us via livestream.\nThe Jewish
Festival will have enhanced security protocols. These are precautionary
measures and not based on any specific threat. Organizers are working
closely with Boulder Police Department\, JEWISHColorado's Secure
Community Network\, and State officials to ensure the safety of our
community. The top priority is creating a secure\, welcoming space where
everyone can gather in solidarity and celebration\nWe also anticipate a
significant media presence. If approached\, remember: you are never
obligated to speak. You may decline or choose to talk later. If you do
engage\, set your boundaries and bring support if needed. If an
interaction feels aggressive or inappropriate\, step away and notify
event staff or security. Support is available through the Boulder JCC and
local synagogues.\nThe festival will officially kick off at 11 am\, and
at 12 pm\, join Run For Their Lives at Broadway and the east side of
Pearl for a walk in solidarity with the 56 hostages still held in Gaza.
This walk will conclude at the Pearl Street stage with a powerful\,
community-led program featuring voices from Run For Their Lives Boulder
and other local leaders.\nThe Run For Their Lives program will also
include remarks from Moshe Emilio Lavi\, whose brother-in-law\, Omri
Miran\, a 49-year-old resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz\, was kidnapped by Hamas
on October 7 and remains in captivity.\nThroughout the day\, you can also
expect:35 locally operating Jewish communal organizations hosting booths
and community activities\n14 food vendors serving Jewish and Israeli
cuisine\n A curated art and artisan market\n Live music and
 performances\n A participatory community art project\n Hostage Square\, a
moving installation featuring empty chairs and photos honoring the 56
hostages\, with presence from Run For Their Lives and the Hostages and
Missing Families Forum\nThe Jewish community is deeply grateful for the
outpouring of support from near and far &mdash\; local and global\,
interfaith\, young and old. All are welcome\, and we hope to have a
tremendous turnout and show of solidarity. \n \n\n\nThank You To Our
