The Boulder JCC collaborates with JEWISHcolorado on Israel programming through a community volunteer committee, the Boulder Israel Engagement Team. BIET's mission is to advocate and educate about Israel through programs and to create opportunities for connections with Israelis. For information, please contact the BIET chairperson, Aza Squarer, at

BIET's objectives:

  • Educate the Boulder Community about modern Israel
  • Connect community members emotionally to Israel through people to people contacts and events
  • Advocate for Israel - be knowledgeable abotu all that is going on in Israel (good and bad) and create a safe space for open dialogues
  • Develop financial resources needed to strengthen the connection of Boulder with Israel
