Navigating the Sibling World

Adding Another Baby Into the Mix: Managing the Transition From One Child to Two (or more!)
Join us for a special conversation just for families who are expanding! Adding another baby into your life can bring incredible joy and fulfillment, but it can also be very taxing for exhausted parents of toddlers, and confusing for young children who used to get their parent's complete and undivided attention. Please join us to meet other parents navigating this sibling transition, to share your concerns in a safe and nonjudgmental space, and to get support and strategies from a family therapist specializing in early childhood and infant mental health.

Friday, February 15, 2019 | 9:30-10:30am | $10 per family | REGISTER HERE
*All proceeds will benefit the Single Mom's Group at the JCC*

Sleep Classes

Please join us for a two-part sleep class tailored to the age of your little one. The first class addresses basics of sleep hygiene and sleep science. Jessica Schaffer will explain bedtime routines, rhythms, and reasonable expectations of your little one's middle of the night behavior. You will take home tangible tools to implement at bedtime and in the middle of the night. The second class is a follow-up to the first. After implementing your new tools at home, we discuss what is working and how to continue the momentum you've started. Jessica will address your next steps for nighttime sleep. We will also address daytime sleeping and eating.
