Lunching with Lions: How to Survive and Thrive at Networking with Katherine McGraw Patterson

What if you'd rather jump into a cage of hungry lions wearing a meat suit than wade into a room full of strangers?

We are taught that networking is important, however few of us are taught to do it well. For many people, networking causes real social anxiety, discomfort, and even distress. This month, Nosh & Network welcomes author Katherine McGraw Patterson whose book, Lunching With Lions, details the strategies she used to overcome her own networking fears and launch one of Denver's leading women's networking groups. Improve your approach to networking by learning tools and strategies to build your networking muscle and help you overcome your fears.

Be Unstoppable: How to Confidently Step Up with Your Gifts and Step Out to Make a Difference

As a leader, entrepreneur, or executive, your confidence is under constant assault as you step up to make a difference and play your bigger game. Your every move is criticized, judged, and second-guessed. This nonstop barrage can sap your enthusiasm, lead to poor work performance, and impair your relationships.

But you don’t have to be in this state! There are specific things you can do to increase your confidence and create more success. Are you ready to step up to your gifts and step out to make the difference you dream of making?

During this presentation Carolyn Hart explores:

  • How the human “Negativity Bias” zaps your confidence and how to deal with it
  • Three key tools to remain composed when the scrutiny heats up
  • One simple action step you can take daily that dramatically boosts your confidence and generates greater results.

Our business networking group is designed to bring together the business community to connect, network, learn, and support each other.
