Flatiron Tribe Accomplishments

Did you know that Flatiron Tribe is an award-winning program of the Boulder JCC? Here are some of the things we've accomplished in the past 2 years.

Flatiron Tribe won the Zahav Award at the 2014 JCCs of North America Biennial Excellence Awards!
The Zahav Award recognizes truly outstanding, visionary initiatives with maximum impact or potential for change.

Back in 2012, we were also the recipient of Rose Community Foundation's Roots and Branches grant. This allowed us to have our "100 Conversations" project, where we sat down with over 100 young adult Jews in the Boulder area to talk about how they got to Boulder, their connection to Judaism, and what they would like to see happen in the young adult Jewish community in Boulder. This has led to many new initiatives, such as a book club, co-ed kickball team, pot luck dinners and more!

Have you had the conversation yet? If not, feel free to reach out to Nancy Lipsey.

Over the past 2 years, we've had roughly 450 unique people at events, with most people coming to an average of 3-4 events per year. This means that in the past 2 years, we've had over 1400 people at our events!

We would like to thank our annual sponsor, JEWISHcolorado, for helping to ensure this program sustains it's excellence.
