Boulder JCC Privacy Policy

The Boulder JCC (BJCC) has created this privacy policy to explain why we collect particular information and how we will protect your personal privacy within our website.

In order to fully understand your rights we encourage you to read this privacy policy, as well as our terms of use. BJCC reserves the right at any time and without notice to change this privacy policy simply by posting such changes on our site. Any such change will be effective immediately upon posting. 

Because we want to demonstrate our commitment to your privacy, this privacy policy notifies you of:

What Information We Collect and How We Use That Information:

Our registration and donation forms require users to give us contact information that may include name, e-mail address, format preference (HTML vs. text), address, interests, and similar information. We do not request or store sensitive information from our visitors, such as credit card or social security numbers. 

Donor Privacy Policy:

The Boulder JCC strives to maintain the highest level of integrity by engaging in best practices in facilitating philanthropy and scrupulously avoiding actual or apparent conflicts of interest or any conduct that would tend to bring discredit to the donor and/or the BJCC. All information about the donor and any proposed gift is treated as strictly confidential. Board members, staff and volunteers working directly with donor information and proposed or actual gifts are required to sign a confidentiality/non-disclosure/conflict of interest agreement. All information concerning donors or prospective donors, their personal and financial profiles, the nature and amounts of gifts, estate values, etc. are held in strict confidence by the Board, staff, volunteers, and agents. Exceptions can be made only if permission is received from the donors. The Boulder JCC subscribes to the Ethical Standards set forth by AFP’s Code of Ethics and Donor Bill of Rights

Security:

BJCC uses appropriate procedures to ensure the security of your personal information and to and protect it from unauthorized access. In particular, when we ask you to enter credit card information, we utilize a PCI compliant third-party processor.  Your credit card information is not stored on our servers.
