With hundreds of programs each year, the Boulder JCC welcomes enthusiastic volunteers to help us grow and serve our community - whether you want to give back to the community, meet new friends, earn community service hours, or enhance your resume. There are numerous opportunities available, both for special events, as well as consistent organizational help, where we work with our volunteers to match them with positions that best fit their skills, interests, and schedules. Library Story Time Reader
Our beautiful library has a wonderful children's section and this program is a great opportunity to bring young kids and their caregivers into the space to see all that we have to offer. Reading out loud to children encourages vocabulary growth and builds a love of books and reading. Storytime in the Library is offered on Tuesday mornings from 9:15-9:45 am. We have a lots of books for you to consider or you can bring your own to share with littles and their caregivers. This time is an opportunity for you to be creative. You can share songs, puppets and other activities during this time to engage and stimulate young minds. This opportunity will be good for a dynamic, dramatic and engaging story readers who love interacting with kids and their caregivers.
