Instructor: Ron Bostwick

Alan Arkin’s career encompassed films and TV shows that are embedded in our collective memories.  From humor (The Russians Are Coming, The In-Laws, The Kominsky Method), to touching humanity (The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter, Little Miss Sunshine), to terrifying drama (Wait Until Dark), he did it all. Over more than seven decades, Arkin received an Academy Award, BAFTA Award, Golden Globe Award, and Tony Award and nominations for six Emmys as an American actor and filmmaker. In this class, Ron Bostwick will discuss and show film clips and photos from Alan Arkin’s career and share personal stories from their friendship.

Ron Bostwick has spent his life in and around media (radio, TV, film).  He is currently the promotions director and evening host of the online music station The Colorado Sound.  Over the past 15 years, he has also been the special event producer and host of marquee interviews at the Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF).
