Jewish organizations in Boulder are committed to your health and safety. Training is one way we can help our community feel more comfortable. We are partnering with the Secure Community Network to offer a series of trainings.
BeAware™️: An Introduction to Situational Awareness™️ is designed to teach the principles of situational awareness in your everyday life. Topics include defining situational awareness and its importance, understanding awareness levels, making informed decisions, and identifying suspicious circumstances. This course is designed for every member of the community. CATT™️ (Countering Active Threat Training) will teach the principles of responding during an active shooter (or active threat) event.
This course follows the national standard curriculum: RUN, HIDE, FIGHT, with additional focus on how we can better prepare to persevere in an active threat environment.
We will gather for light refreshments from 6 - 6:30 pm, followed by a two-hour session.
The Secure Community Network (SCN) is generously supported by JEWISHcolorado
