Details
Teens, volunteer at the Milk and Honey Farm this summer! Tend to the plants in the field and greenhouse, meet the goats (there will be a baby goat), and feed the chickens and koi. This is an opportunity to contribute to the community through hands-on tasks and make a positive impact on the environment. Produce from Milk and Honey Farm is donated or used in educational programs, and each year we donate over 4,000+ pounds of produce to Boulder County community members experiencing food insecurity.
Tasks may include:
- digging
- planting
- harvesting
- tending plants in our tzedakah (donation) garden
- work to improve our educational garden beds and tend plants in the greenhouse
Please come prepared with a water bottle, closed-toed shoes, and a snack. Participants are encouraged to pre-register and join us as often as their schedules allow during June, July, and August.
Thursdays, June 4 - August 27 | 9 am - 12 pm | FREE
