Get To Know The Café

At the Boulder JCC, we believe in the power of community, and as our vision reflects, we are committed to creating a space where everyone feels truly welcome. Our goal is good coffee and great conversation, while supporting a good cause. Instead of your regular cafe stop, consider making the Café at the J your new spot!

In partnership with Bridge House, and its social enterprise Community Table Kitchen, we created Café at the J - a place to bring to life all aspects of our vision, mission, and values.

Through this initiative, Bridge House will maintain its work-first model to create paid opportunities for the unhoused, helping them regain stability and rejoin the community. We have seen the impact of their work across Boulder County and are proud to partner with them!

Everyone is welcome at the Boulder JCC's Café at the J! Whether you are a first-time visitor, attending a Boulder JCC program, coming for a meeting or needing a place to get some work completed, dropping a child off for school at the Early Childhood Center, volunteering in any capacity, or simply driving through the area!

Get To Know Our Partners

Café at the J is proud to partner with the Bridge House, Community Kitchen Table, and Dazbog Coffee to create this haven of coffee and connection. When you support the Café at the J, you support these other amazing partners.

 POWERED BY BRIDGE HOUSE

Bridge House ends homelessness one person at a time through a continuum of programming from low-barrier basic needs to its innovative Ready to Work program.

 FUELED BY COMMUNITY TABLE KITCHEN

A social enterprise, Community Table Kitchen supports Bridge House’s mission through catering, cafes, take and bake, mission meals, and truffle brownies while providing paid employment and culinary training for Ready to Work trainees.

ENERGIZED BY DAZBOG COFFEE

Dazbog Coffee is the realization of the American dream by two immigrants from the former Soviet Union, Anatoly and Leonid Yuffa. Their dream was to combine Old-World coffee roasting traditions with the richness of the finest quality coffee beans grown on estates from around the world.
