Join author, Danielle Sharkan for a book reading of Sharing Shalom, a book about a little girl who is very proud of her Jewish identity, customs and traditions until someone purposefully destroys her family’s synagogue in a hateful act of antisemitism. A helpful way to help parents and teachers discuss antisemitism with children in a very tangible and accessible way. Following the reading, Danielle Sharkan and Jerry Pinsker, a local ADL facilitator, will have a discussion and presentation about antisemitism for parents. Childcare will be available during the program for ages 4-10.
Copies of Sharing Shalom will be available for purchase at the event.
Sunday, November 10 | 10:30 am - 12 pm | $15
