The Boulder JCC is hosting a BYO (bring your own) Purim Family Shabbat Indoor Picnic! Bring your dinner, a blanket to sit on, and Purim costumes to show off. Celebrate Shabbat with challah and grape juice (provided by the Boulder JCC) and listen to songs played by Jon Wood. Tailored towards families with children 0 - 8 years.

The holiday of Purim begins on Thursday evening March 13. The holiday celebrates the saving of the Jews from a threatened massacre in ancient Persia. The holiday is traditionally celebrated with wild abandon — costumes, drinking, feasting, revelry — and by reading the megillah and giving gifts to friends and the poor.
