Join ceramic artist Rita Vali for this heartwarming and creative workshop where you'll sculpt a pair of Hopeful Birds—symbols of peace, resilience, and connection.
Using a range of hand building techniques, you'll create two expressive ceramic birds. One will be yours to keep as a reminder of beauty and hope. The other will join a growing flock of donated birds to be shared with a special group or community in need of encouragement and support.
Rita will guide you step by step, offering techniques in shaping, texturing, and decorating your birds using carving tools, and underglazes. She brings her joyful spirit and deep love of clay to every session, and she’s passionate about helping others discover the magic of working with their hands.
Whether you’re new to clay or a returning student, this workshop is a meaningful way to create art that lifts the spirit—both yours and someone else’s.
All materials included. No experience necessary. Come create, connect, and share hope—one bird at a time.
