Boulder JCC Programs
Passover Food Drive for Community Food Share
Details
Together, we can live out the spirit of Passover by making sure no one in our community goes hungry. As we gather with family and friends to celebrate Passover and remember the story of liberation, we are reminded of the importance of caring for those in need. As the Haggadah commands us: "Let all who are hungry come and eat."
Right now, 1 in 12 people in Boulder and Broomfield Counties are experiencing food insecurity. Rising costs continue to force many families to make difficult choices between paying bills and buying food. Your gift helps ensure our neighbors don’t have to make those choices. Together, we can ensure that our neighbors have access to the nutritious food they need.
You can help in two ways. Bring food items to the collection boxes at the Boulder JCC, Har HaShem, or Nevei Kodesh. And/or you can contribute securely here.
Community Food Share will leverage its buying power and strong relationships with food suppliers to turn every $1 donated into $6 worth of groceries.
Collection boxes will be in the Boulder JCC lobby from Monday, March 9, to Wednesday, April 1.
