Instuctor: Chamisa Logemann
Ages: 6 - 15 months
Join Chamisa Logemann for a special fall session at Milk and Honey Farm, designed to deepen your connection with your child through American Sign Language (ASL). Using songs, toys, games, and play-based activities, Chamisa makes learning sign language fun and accessible for both children and adults. In this class, you’ll learn alongside your child and other families, discovering how to recognize and respond to what your child is thinking, observing, needing, and wanting—all while bonding through music and movement.
- Research shows that babies who use sign language can begin communicating as early as 6 months old, often reducing frustration and tantrums. In fact, studies have found that signing babies can have a vocabulary advantage of 50+ more words by age two compared to non-signing peers.
- Set at the beautiful Milk and Honey Farm—home to friendly goats and chickens, a greenhouse with koi fish, and colorful crops—this class offers a warm, engaging environment for learning and connection in the fresh air.
