“We All Rise Together When There Is Peace and Love” - A Community Art Piece by Artie Sandstone

On June 8, 2025, one week after the June 1 antisemitic terror attack shook our community, more than 15,000 people gathered on Pearl Street for the Boulder Jewish Festival. Together, the community chose resilience, culture, and unity in the face of tragedy. In response, artist Artie Sandstone joined the festival, where he envisioned and created a participatory artwork that served as a space for healing and hope. Over the course of five hours, more than 500 individuals added their names, thoughts, and prayers. Every message became a thread in a larger tapestry of peace, love, and shared strength.
