A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benenits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes, like the Boulder JCC. If you have a donor advised fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to this nonprofit directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF's sponsoring organization is participating).
A dedicated Safety & Security Endowment will ensure that the Boulder JCC always has reliable, long-term resources to: - Provide annual support to pay for security professionals (guards) - Maintain and upgrade our security systems and technology - Support staff and community training drills - Strengthen relationships with local law enforcement and security partners
There are special rules for valuing a gift of stock. The value of a charitable gift of stock is determined by taking the mean between the high and low stock price on the date of the gift. Mutual fund shares are valued using the closing price for the fund on the date of the gift.
