Kimberly Baker has worked at the Boulder JCC since 2011 and is celebrating 14 years this August! She began as a Pre-K teacher and became Director of Parent & Early Learning Programs in 2014 after earning her Master’s in Family Counseling. At the Boulder JCC, she teaches parenting classes and leads groups such as Baby Time, Babies at Bobolink, and the Single/Divorced Moms Group, while also coordinating workshops on potty training, sleep, infertility and sibling transitions. The Early Learning Department prides themselves on creating Jewish Family programs such as Jeff and Paige Chanukah and Family Ceramic classes. Kimberly is passionate about helping families connect and thrive in a supportive community. She lives in Erie with her husband Adam, their two kids—Emily (11), a JCC alum, and Austin (8), a former Forest School wolf—and their dog, Bella. Originally from the Vail area, Kimberly enjoys hiking, photography, coaching her daughters’ basketball team and traveling when she’s not busy with family life. She met her husband at CU and is a big Buff Fan!

Stacey Martin has worked at the Boulder JCC since the summer of 2019 when she and her husband moved to Boulder from Chicago. She first worked as a preschool teacher and is now the Family and Early Learning Specialist. Stacey has her MAT in Museum Education and previously worked as a museum educator teaching programs for young children and their families. She has worked at a history museum, a zoo, a planetarium, and an art museum, so she knows a little about a lot! Besides Boulder and Chicago, she’s lived in New York City, Washington, DC, and Ann Arbor, MI, where she grew up. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, climbing, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and two cats.

Annabella (Bella) Cox teaches music at the Boulder JCC with Altitunes. She has a degree in music education and a certificate in disability studies from Virginia Commonwealth University, and is currently studying vocal performance and pedagogy (opera) at CU Boulder. She previously worked as a preschool teacher for four years. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, biking, and hiking.

Dan Etter brings nearly three decades of coaching experience to the JCC. Dan met his wife, Jordan, in college, where he captained his soccer team. Dan's coaching experience ranges from skills camps and high school teams to developing youth sports programs. In addition to developing fundamental skills, he believes that sports are a powerful and effective way to teach children such life skills as work ethic, resilience, compassion, teamwork, and critical thinking. Most importantly, having fun is at the core of everything he does. Dan and Jordan have three children, two boys, and a little girl. Dan also works for Repair the World as their Senior Program Manager for Colorado.

Bridget Dorr is a ceramic artist and creative based in Boulder, specializing in expressive, handcrafted pottery inspired by the Colorado Front Range. With a background in art therapy, Bridget has a deep appreciation for the power of creative expression, which guides her approach to both ceramics and visual arts. She has spent years teaching children self-expression and empowerment through the arts, a passion that continues to inspire her work in the studio. When she’s not shaping clay in her east Boulder pottery studio, Bridget explores other creative outlets, including documentary wedding photography, where she captures heartfelt moments with an artist’s eye for storytelling.

Carly Davino has 15 years of childcare experience. She graduated from SUNY Purchase with a degree in Literature and a certificate in Early Childhood Development. Working with young children has been Carly's passion, and over the years she has become a very confident and comfortable caregiver. She loves watching and helping children learn, and encouraging them to safely explore and enjoy their environment. She has been extremely excited to learn and grow through the InsideOut Creative Movement style of learning for the youngest kiddos. This is her third year teaching creative movement at the Boulder JCC.

Lynette Errante is certified in art education grades K-12 in Colorado, NY and PA. She has taught art internationally, in camps, afterschool programs and public/private school settings.  She was the school age youth and camp director at the Binghamton JCC in NY for 7 years and loves to bring the art experience to EVERY kid! Lynette has taught everything from printmaking to ceramics, preschool painting to sculpture! Lynette is currently the Director of Operations & Education at The New Local, an arts nonprofit on West Pearl St. When she is not teaching, you will find her foraging for flowers, hiking or creating hand-built ceramics at her studio in East Boulder.

Emily Kopitz has been active from a young age. As a kid, she was nicknamed the Energizer Bunny and has had a passion for health and wellness. Growing up in Michigan, she found her love of group fitness in high school over 20 years ago, working at a yoga studio. She moved to Colorado in 2011, and after leaving the corporate world and having her first daughter in 2017, she leaped into group fitness and health, starting with mom and baby fitness classes through Fit4Mom and running virtual mama groups during Covid. As a Certified Yoga Teacher, Functional Medicine Health and Wellness Coach, Group Fitness Instructor and a busy mom of two, she understands the important role that group fitness plays in a well-balanced life: it’s about prioritizing your health and overall wellbeing and finding deeper connections with others so you can show up for the important ones in your life. She believes group fitness doesn’t just support your physical body, but your mental and spiritual as well, especially when you’re being active with others.
